Bako is a political and security analyst specializing in the Middle East, Caucasus, and the wider post-Soviet space. He advises research institutions, policy organizations, and international stakeholders on regional security, geopolitical developments, and foreign policy dynamics across Eurasia. Earlier, Bako served at the Embassy of Georgia to the Islamic Republic of Iran, where he covered Press Affairs. His research and commentary have been published by leading international institutions, including the London School of Economics, the Institute for Security and Development Policy, and Confluences Méditerranée. He graduated with an MA in International Security Studies from the University of Leicester.
